Updates on Regional Transportation Revenue Measure and Muni Parcel Tax

SB 63, known as the "Connect Bay Area Act," authorizes a multi-county regional transportation funding measure that would support transit operations subject to voter approval at the November 2026 election. To generate additional funding to support Muni service, San Francisco officials and SFTMA staff are also proposing a parcel tax intended to prevent any service cuts to Muni.

This project will implement quick-builds for the next generation of Muni Forward corridor projects to support the Five-Minute Network.
