We’ve compiled a list of some outdoor gems throughout the city, which the Transportation Authority has supported through San Francisco’s voter-approved half-cent sales tax for transportation and other funding sources.

Replacing car travel with more sustainable modes will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and create a healthier environment for San Francisco residents, workers, and visitors. 

Our board approved $925,000 in half-cent sales tax for transportation funds to support SFMTA’s Schools Engineering Program. Within San Francisco’s Safe Routes to School, this program will fund the planning, design, and construction of signage, paint markings, and traffic calming measures at schools throughout the city.
