San Francisco’s Equity Priority Communities include a diverse cross-section of populations and communities that could be considered disadvantaged or vulnerable now and in the future.

This project will design and construct traffic calming measures along the Folsom Street and Crescent Avenue corridors in District 9.

Our board approved over $2.8 million in half-cent sales tax funds and $3 million in TNC Tax funds to support SFMTA’s Vision Zero Quick-Build Program. The goal of the program is to deliver projects quickly and efficiently to high-need locations identified on the Vision Zero High Injury Network.

We celebrated the passage of the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Representatives Jackie Speier and Mark DeSaulnier, and transit and labor leaders from the Bay Area.

Our board approved over $7 million in funding for transit reliability, paving, and safety improvements along Mission Street and Geneva Avenue, located on the Vision Zero High Injury Network and within an Equity Priority Community.

We hosted a networking event last month for disadvantaged, local, and small businesses to share upcoming opportunities to do business with our agency and participate in contracts funded with federal, state, and local dollars.
