SFMTA Completes Safety Improvements on Divisadero

New improvements were completed along Divisadero which include longer crossing times for pedestrians, daylighting, pedestrian safety zones, and more. We provided $270,000 in Neighborhood Program funding to support the project.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, John F. Kennedy Drive has been closed to cars to allow people to walk and bicycle while social distancing. We evaluated options for JFK Drive to improve park access which was summarized in a final report approved by the Transportation Authority Board.
