The Transportation Authority is exploring ways to improve safety and access to parks, schools, hospitals, and recreational areas for children, seniors, and people with disabilities in the Marina, Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, Cathedral Hill, Laurel Village, Jordan Park, and North of the Panhandle neighborhoods, as part of the District 2 Safety Study.

We joined District 6 Board Member Matt Dorsey, SFMTA, SF Public Works, SF Bike Coalition, and community members to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Folsom Streetscape Project in the South of Market neighborhood.

We joined Transbay Joint Powers Authority, city officials, partners, and community members at the Salesforce Transit Center to celebrate The Portal’s entry to the Engineering phase and the Federal Transit Administration’s $3.38 billion funding commitment.

Treasure Island's Electric Ferry Service received seed funding towards its first year of operations between Treasure Island and the Ferry Building which will reduce emissions, enhance mobility and connect visitors to several amenities on the Island.

In May, the Transportation Authority Board approved several key transportation projects including Transit Stop Signage Enhancement, the Golden Gate Greenway, Muni paratransit, and BART elevator attendant programs.
