Muni Transit Performance Working Group Update – INFORMATION*On June 24, 2019 Mayor London N. Breed announced the creation of the Muni Transit Performance Working Group to review the performance of the City’s current bus and rail system and to recommend actionable steps that the City can take to improve service for riders. The working group is convened together with Supervisor Rafael Mandelman and Supervisor Aaron Peskin. Peg Stevenson, City Performance Director at the Controller’s Office, and Julie Kirschbaum, Director of Transit at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), will provide an update at the September 24, 2019 Transportation Authority Board meeting.
