The Transportation Authority is exploring the idea of an on-demand shuttle service that could improve transportation options in the Sunset, Outer Sunset, Parkside, Pine Lake Park, Lakeshore, and Merced Manor neighborhoods, as part of the District 4 Community Shuttle Study.
The study identifies optimal service models, establishes operating requirements for a successful service, and outlines the costs and funding strategy for potential implementation.
The study builds on findings from the District 4 Mobility Study, which identified a community shuttle as a priority.
