The Transportation Authority is conducting the Octavia Improvements Study, in close coordination with SFMTA and the District 5 Office of Transportation Authority Board Member and Supervisor Dean Preston.

Our project team is exploring a number of local and regional strategies to improve safety and accessibility along Octavia Boulevard and the surrounding area, including Oak Street and the Panhandle.

The local strategies that are identified to be a high priority by the community will be implemented with approximately $7 million from the Market and Octavia Special Funds.

We want your input to help decide what improvements to move forward. Share your feedback:

Take our survey (closes June 30, 2022). You may win one of five $50 Visa gift cards for completing the survey.

Watch our May 3 Virtual Town Hall to learn about the strategies we're exploring.
