Lake Merced Quick-Build Project Reaches Completion

SFMTA has completed the Lake Merced Quick-Build Project, which aims to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety and traffic. The Transportation Authority supported this project with $1.38 million in funding from our sales tax, vehicle registration fees, and TNC tax funds.

Geary-Fillmore Underpass Community Planning Study

The project will develop transportation and land use concept designs that rethink the urban renewal-era Geary Expressway and advance a high-quality multimodal, mixed-use transit-oriented area to connect the Japantown and Fillmore/Western Addition neighborhoods and promote community livability.
