San Francisco residency verification, which is a prerequisite for serving on the CAC, is required on an annual basis. Below are the steps for documenting residency:

Documentation may be submitted electronically by one of the following methods:

  • Uploading your documentation using the button above.
  • Email to clerk@sfcta.org or delivered or mailed to the SFCTA offices (SFCTA, Attn: Clerk of the Transportation Authority, 1455 Market Street, 22nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103).
  • In person verification at our offices, please contact the clerk at clerk@sfcta.org or by calling 415-522-4819.

The following forms of documentation will be accepted as proof of residency:

  • Current driver’s license or other government-issued identification
  • Utility bill
  • Pay stub

If the above items are not available for individuals under 18, a letter from a parent or legal guardian confirming San Francisco residency and their proof of residency will suffice.
