The Transportation Authority is exploring how an on-demand shuttle service could improve transportation options in the Sunset, Outer Sunset, Parkside, Pine Lake Park, Lakeshore, and Merced Manor neighborhoods, as part of the District 4 Community Shuttle Study.

The study builds on findings from the 2021 District 4 Mobility Study which identified a community shuttle as a priority. To help implement recommendations from the 2021 study, we are developing a business plan that will define an on-demand community shuttle service within District 4. The business plan will identify potential service models and establish the operating requirements of a successful service. This phase of the project also includes outlining the future operating phase cost and funding strategy.

We want your input to help us design a shuttle service for the District 4 community.
