SFTP "Spotlight" seriesWe're showcasing a number of transportation improvements implemented since the last Countywide Transportation Plan, looking at how they have affected lives of the residents and employees of San Francisco. First up: Leland Avenue Streetscape Impovements. WHAT IS THE SAN FRANCISCO TRANSPORTATION PLAN?
The San Francisco Transportation Plan (SFTP) is the City’s 25-year plan to identify goals, needs, and investment priorities for our transportation system. It will help shape the next generation of transportation projects and enhancements to improve the way people travel in and around San Francisco. The plan will be a blueprint for the Transportation Authority's program of projects and studies, with the goal of improving mobility and accessibility for the people of San Francisco while preserving the City's unique character. It’s about improving transportation options in your
neighborhood, for your business, and on your street—for a healthier, livelier San
Francisco.
