Prop K Programmatic Projects

Per the Expenditure Plan, adoption by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority (Authority) Board of a 5-Year Prioritization Program (5YPP) for each programmatic (i.e., non-project specific) Prop K expenditure category is required before funds can be allocated to projects in that category. The Authority adopted the first round of 5YPPs in May and June of 2005. The 5YPPs have a number of required components including a prioritization mechanism for ranking projects, a 5-year program of projects with full funding plans (e.g. Prop K and other funds), and establishment of performance measures.

To inform the 2009 updates of the 5YPPs and Strategic Plan the Authority assembled two kinds of information for all Expenditure Plan categories from Prop K inception (April 2004) through June 2009. First, we compared the amount of  funding available for projects in each category for the first 5-year programming cycle with the amount actually allocated to projects. Second, we tabulated project delivery data for the projects to which Prop K funds were allocated.  Click on the links below to see tabular summaries of this information.
