Current Research and Other Studies
|
The Authority conducts policy studies and research on various topics of interest to the Authority Board. Strategic Analysis Reports (SARs) are designed to inform policy-level decision-making by the Authority Board. Each SAR includes a review of relevant plans and studies, and a strategic analysis of key issues. The Auto Trip Generation Study is a follow-on effort to the Authority’s 2004 Alternative Level of Service SAR. The Bi-County Study Update revisits infrastructure needs at the county line with San Mateo, in light of land use plans which have advanced in the area. The Caltrain Oakdale Ridership Study follows the Station Feasibility Study, which was completed in 2005. |
