Moving the City

The Authority’s governing board consists of the eleven members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, sitting as commissioners of the Authority. The Authority Board is not a City Commission. The Authority is a separate legal entity from the City and County of San Francisco, created under state law. The Authority Board has three standing committees and one special-purpose select committee. The Board members elect a chairperson every January. The Chairperson appoints the members and chairpersons of the committees and serves as ex-officio member of the committees.

Commissioners: David Campos (Chair), Scott Wiener (Vice Chair), John Avalos, David Chiu, Carmen Chu, Malia Cohen, Sean Elsbernd, Mark Farrell, Jane Kim, Eric Mar and Christina Olague

Meets the fourth Tuesday of every month, at 11:00 am in the Legislative Chamber, located on the second floor at San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Goodlett B. Carlton Place, San Francisco.

Finance Committee

Meets regularly the second Tuesday of every month at 11:00 am, in Room 263, San Francisco City Hall.
