Community and stakeholder participation were critical to the Study's objective of developing a consensus design for Bayshore station area transportation improvements. The Study sought input on elements of the existing station that work or could be improved, necessary and desired future station improvements, as well as other suggestions and concerns. What we heard and how it was incorporated into the Study findings and recommendations is described in Chapter 4 of the Final Report.
Community Workshop 3: Design Alternative Evaluation tradeoffs, findings and next steps
Our third workshop was held in Summer 2011 to share the evaluation results of conceptual station design alternatives, potential recommendations on projects and policies to support strong transit, and next steps. We sought community input on weighing the tradeoffs between alternatives and refining the station vision.
Community Workshops 1 and 2: Study overview and design alternatives
During our first phase of outreach, we conducted two community workshops in Summer 2010, one in Visitacion Valley and one in Brisbane, to provide an overview of the study and discuss alternative design options with the community.
